Roger vs Boys Of Scandinavia 7" limited edition single will be released in UK in March. After taking a hiatus during the latter end of 2004 Mate are looking forward to the year 2005, and hope to gain at least a bit of last year's proudest moments...so a new website, with yet another 'not-again-so-un-trendy' colour....

Roger's Teemu Metsälä has finished a quick off-the-wall inspired album with producer Roger Lyons (New Order, Ladytron, FC Kahuna). The production work took place in Teemu's Ex-Empire Studios and Mr. Lyons's MajorTweaks Studios. As an off-shoot of the album sessions experimentation Roger contributed a track 'X-mas Beat (Doubt About Disco Edit)' for Cardiff's Slow Graffiti Christmas Compilation, and Teemu is set to collaborate with Cardiff's Messiah Complex soon. Before returning back to his Roger activites in February Teemu will do remixes for the Finnish indie exports The Scaramangas and Viola.

Boys of Scandinavia are pleased to announce that Finnish beatnik Tuomo Kuusi has become the lead singer for the forthcoming album and other live activities that may follow in 2005. Boys are now recording crying vocals and screaming guitars in Helsinki, whilst wondering how they managed the ever impressive 18th place on rocklehti Rumba's (Finland's NME, for those not in the know) annual song of the year 2004 poll...
